I loved Blue Moon. Linklater’s direction has his familiar glow, giving Ethan Hawke space for a very different but outstanding performance.

Margaret Qualley is an absolute delight too, bringing a witty energy that matches the film’s beautiful visuals perfectly.

This might not be your usual thing – it’s not my usual thing – but don’t let that get in the way of enjoying one of the warmest movies of the year.
