Marie Antoinette (2006)

Here comes the Austrian.

Sophia Coppola deftly balances vast opulence and dreamy realism, resulting in one of the most beautiful movies of the 00s. This has been on my list of shame for way too long. I knew what I was in for, and was still shocked by just how engaging it was. Stimulating and effervescent.
